About Reservations
When do I need to make a reservation?
Private taxi/hire, sightseeing taxi, airport transfer:
Please make a reservation via the online reservation form by 5pm (Japan time) 4 days before use.
After submitting your reservation form, you will receive an automatic reply email. After that, the reservation will be confirmed once you receive a confirmation reply from MK.
*It may take up to two days for MK to send a confirmation email.
Meter taxi: Orders can also be placed on the same day. Please place your order by phone. Uber is also available.
*As there are a limited number of vehicles for both private & meter taxis, we recommend booking early.

Please make sure your emails are not filtered and make sure that our emails (@mk-group.co.jp) are not in your spam folder/trash/spam folder.
Can I change or cancel my reservation? Is there a cancellation fee?
No cancellation fees apply for changes or cancellations up to 3 days before use. If you cancel after that, we will charge you 100% of the tour amount.

Fees, Payments, etc.
Does the cost include parking and expressway fees?
Parking fees and tolls (if required) are not included. If you pass through toll roads, the customer will also be responsible for the toll fee.
Do I need to pay for drivers admission fees, entrance fees, and meal fees?
There is no need to pay admission fees at temples & shrines or meals.
However, please note that if you wish us to accompany you at an art museum or history museum, an admission fee will be required.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. Payment can be made by credit card.
The credit cards that can be used are VISA, AMEX, DC, UC, Mastercard, Diners, and JCB.
Is QR code payment possible?
Yes. Some QR code payments are possible.
The QR code payments available are PayPay, Rakuten Pay, dPay, LINE Pay, au Pay, Alipay (支付宝), WeChat Pay (微信支付), and J-Coin Pay.
About the vehicle
Can I take my pet in the car?
If your pet is small and is in a cage with a closed door, you can ride together (not wrapped in a blanket).
*You can ride if it is in a cage that fits it's entire body, and if there is no part of the body, such as it's face, you will be able to bring it inside the car.
*Please do not take the pet out from the cage inside the car, including when boarding or getting in.
However, assistance dogs for physically disabled people such as guide dogs and hearing dogs can ride as they are.
Can I smoke in the car?
All vehicles are non-smoking so that everyone can enjoy a clean car.
Smoking is prohibited inside the car.
Can I eat lunch or other meals in the car?
We apologize, but we do not accept meals or drinks in the car.
How much luggage can be carried?
The trunk can hold one or two large (90 liters) suitcases. If you have a lot of luggage, we recommend a wagon type (such as a Hi-ace) vehicle.

About Service
Can you provide a wheelchair? Also, are there any tourist spots that you can go to in a wheelchair?
Please consult with us in advance regarding wheelchairs.
We will reply to you whether or not you can use a wheelchair (if so, we will lend it free of charge).
You can ask about the tourist spots that can be enjoyed in a wheelchair & decide on the day by consulting with the driver.
Should I decide where to eat?
You can consult with the driver on the day where you eat.
However, it is recommended that you make restaurant reservations in advance during the tourist season as it is very busy.
If you need to make a reservation, please arrange it by yourself.
In the case of a private sightseeing taxi or limousine service, what will be the meal time?
If you eat within the reservation time, this time will be included in the reservation time.
Can I ask to change the course after booking or on the day of the reservation?
Yes. It is possible.
Courses can be changed after booking or on the day of your reservation. Please let the driver in charge of your request know on the day. We will respond to customer requests as much as possible.
Can I decide on the sightseeing course on the day?
Yes, you can decide on the course by consulting directly with the driver on the day.
Drivers can also suggest personal courses by asking for your preferences.
Are there English Speaking Drivers available?
MK has over 50 experienced English Conversation Drivers available (1,000 yen per 30 minutes).
To fully enjoy the wonderful Kyoto experience, we also provide you with information about all aspects of our wonderful city, for both tourism & work.
Any tourist plans introduced on our website, etc. can be enjoyed in English.
Can I ask the driver to take photos?
Yes. Please don't hesitate!
In addition, we will do our best to meet all of your requests so that you can enjoy your stay in a comfortable environment.
Will the driver explain the tourist spots?
Yes. All tourist drivers will accompany you.
We will generally accompany you to each tourist spot & guide you as you wish.
